Protecting patients. Minimizing risk.

Compliance.

Medical regulations are constantly changing, and it’s our responsibility to protect our patients and our practice. It requires diligent compliance documentation and a commitment to ongoing self-audit of clinical practices. Our dedicated compliance department has implemented:

  • Development of PAA compliance policies and procedures
  • Designation of a compliance officer to ensure proper implementation and execution of the PAA compliance program
  • Routine education and training programs for both PAA employees and clinicians
  • Internal monitoring and reviews
  • Enforcement of disciplinary standards through well publicized guidelines
  • Development of open and anonymous channels of communication
  • Annual risk assessment

We also take measures to evaluate each physician’s clinical practice, as well as his or her compliance with clinical documentation. PAA has developed a computerized audit tool that has the capabilities to assess clinical data across multiple electronic medical record platforms.
